Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello (born April 18, 1967) is an American actress, producer, and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello was a TV star as the character Dr. Anna Del Amico, the medical drama that aired from 1997 to 1998. She also played Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016 and as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS, where she served as the lead agent. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science Bello studied in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her acting training through participation in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello together with Dan McDermott is the proud mother of Jackson. Bello wrote in November 2013 about her similar-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. The book she wrote was titled Whatever...Love Is a Love: The Truth Behind the Labels We Place on Ourself. (Dey Street Books.
