Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then was appointed the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki worked as the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] There was speculation she would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. In 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
